_Harvard Yard_
Monday night, I stayed with a friend who's now a
post-doc at Boston University then, Tuesday, I
headed into Cambridge to see my Harvard peoples.
Omolulu on the subway.
The T.
Harvard Square; a beautiful day.
Waiting for Deji under the sculpture in the middle of the Square.
The view from Deji's window.
A familiar sight.
Deji's crib.
Mr. Ayodeji Ogunnaike. Real talk, we "been homies
since Superman drawers" (c) Obie Trice. Growing
up, Deji's older brother and I were best friends from
around the age of 9 on through high school; we were,
oxymoronically, homeschooled together; went to the
same high school, the same summer camps, and now
we are on our grown man level and chilling in Deji's
dorm at Harvard.
Arthur Huang. The dude is engaged.
Ann Chi.
The pink brings out the lustre in Jung's Korean eyes.
Yichen is a Godly woman.
Yichen's suite at Harvard.
Jung: a gentleman and a scholar.
Yichen: tired, but kind enough to put up with me until 2 AM.
_From Harvard to MIT_
After the gorgeous day that was Tuesday, I woke up
Wednesday morning to a dreary drizzle.
View from Deji's window 2.
The ceiling.
The Harvard Lampoon.
Cambridge in the rain.
I took the T to Kendall Square and sat around in the Food Court
for about 4 hours, reading and hanging out with some friends
before moving out.
I enjoyed this book immensely; I'm not sure how I
feel about that.
Adidas Comptown ST's in Neon Green and Coffee.
I was banging out these joints on the pavement all
week and they barely got worn down. Thumbs up,
Adidas.
I headed over to W20 to have lunch with Li Bian.
I posted up in this spot, on the 3rd floor of W20, around 5 PM.
I left around 1 AM.
Aditi: this girl is married.
Art came over to visit again; then Isabel came through
and introductions were made all 'round.
Isabel's man John Kim came through later, but I was
caught slipping and did not get a picture of him.
Probably best that I did not, the dude is too hot for the
Internets.
Around 1 AM, Boris Alexeev came through to W20
and I headed over to his place to crash for the night.
Yellowtail.
Boris.
Boris's roommate. He plays guitar like a rock star.
The bachelor life.
_The Road Home_
I told the guys that they were leading an idyllic bachelor life.
They liked the sound of that.
Idyllic bachelor breakfast.
Another window view.
My boy Andre Green and I got together in Kendall
to grab lunch right before I headed out via Amtrak.
'Dre
Some mighty healthy looking Cosi pizza.
Kendall Square symphony.
The Charles-MGH T stop. I used to come through
here every morning during RSI, on my way to my
internship at MGH.
Boston-South Station.
Two pigeons were just chilling. One dropped a
dookie on the mat in front of me. You can see it in
Welcome home.
