Push it to the limit...

Thanks to recent uploading sprees (dare I say, a bonanza), I've hit the monthly limit at my hosting site. More pictures coming - soon - but a hiatus until the 31st is in order. Maybe this will be the (much-?) needed impetus pushing me over the edge of actually making content-filled drops rather than a blast of photographic waste. Holla.

This cat has been getting up around town for the last
few years i've been here, but this is his first work
that i've appreciated stylistically. Before, he seemed
to be limiting himself to monocolor hit and run tags,
but this sticker is real fresh. Good job MOAB.

[Xanga] OutKast Theology

a bit of theology from Andre3000 (aka Three Stacks):

"If what they say is, 'nothing is forever', then what makes... love the exception?
"so why oh why... are we so in denial if we know we're not happy here?" - Hey Ya

One day I am going to use that quote in a talk, i just know it.

[Xanga] Thanks, Billy

Billy: yeah well just something i've been challenged with lately is:

if everything that you hope to happen happens perfectly, if it all comes out for the good, does that mean that God is blessing you?
1:03 AM me: oh yeah
i been thinking on that too
ironic, because then God pushes me to live it out
Billy: right, i think you said it perfectly in your xanga, and i was actually really encouraged by that
1:04 AM
me: sigh. yeah... i guess one thing that is interesting
is that i never lost faith this time
but it was more just like... getting the wind knocked out of me
like you know, a boxer
the difference between a rookie who gets knocked out and thinks he can't never box no more
and a more seasoned dude who gets KO'd but knows he can go back in
i felt more like that

_Harvard Yard_

Monday night, I stayed with a friend who's now a
post-doc at Boston University then, Tuesday, I
headed into Cambridge to see my Harvard peoples.

Mr. Ayodeji Ogunnaike. Real talk, we "been homies
since Superman drawers" (c) Obie Trice. Growing
up, Deji's older brother and I were best friends from
around the age of 9 on through high school; we were,
oxymoronically, homeschooled together; went to the
same high school, the same summer camps, and now
we are on our grown man level and chilling in Deji's
dorm at Harvard.

From Harvard to MIT_

After the gorgeous day that was Tuesday, I woke up
Wednesday morning to a dreary drizzle.

I took the T to Kendall Square and sat around in the Food Court
for about 4 hours, reading and hanging out with some friends
before moving out.

Image024.jpg
I enjoyed this book immensely; I'm not sure how I
feel about that.

Adidas Comptown ST's in Neon Green and Coffee.
I was banging out these joints on the pavement all
week and they barely got worn down. Thumbs up,
Adidas.

Image027.jpg
I headed over to W20 to have lunch with Li Bian.

Image028.jpg
I posted up in this spot, on the 3rd floor of W20, around 5 PM.
I left around 1 AM.

Aditi: this girl is married.

Image031.jpg
Art came over to visit again; then Isabel came through
and introductions were made all 'round.

Image032.jpg
Isabel's man John Kim came through later, but I was
caught slipping and did not get a picture of him.
Probably best that I did not, the dude is too hot for the
Internets.

Around 1 AM, Boris Alexeev came through to W20
and I headed over to his place to crash for the night.
