_Shopping with Mel_

Once every semester, the retailers lining New Haven's
supposed "Downtown District" get together and have
College Night, with free food, giveaways, discounts, etc.

Little-known fact: store discounts begin at the stores'
10 AM opening, not College Night's 6 PM beginning.

For the past several College Nights, I have leveraged
tips such as that above into copping Nikes at Urban
Outfitters ([||] just for mentioning that store in this web
log) for 50% off the on-sale price, meaning $30 for
these and $10 for these.

This year I woke Melody up at 10:30 to go shopping
with me before the good items were snatched up; she was
a good sport and humored me.

_Rhythmic Blue Show_

I ran into my girl Misty earlier today. Her dance
crew, Rhythmic Blue, holds it down for Yale on the
dance flo in a way that basically very few do.
She and my boy Justin AKA J-Smooth have been
doing their thing four years straight, and she hooked
me up with a ticket in in exchange for ushering
their last show at Yale with RB.





RB got mad large this last year
